Given the rampant DOJ corruption, I hope Trump let's them do mountains of stressful work and then signs a piece of paper reversing it all.

Imagine if you spent 3 years on a 70 hour per week work project and invested your emotional energy in it and when it's complete, the boss walks in and rips it up and fires you.

I might be fine with that if Bolton, the Vindman brothers, and Yovanovitch join them.

You make it sound like these people tell the truth. Hell, your candidates are all over the U.S. telling people how terrible the economy is doing on national TV!

People of, and/or involved with our government, corrupt liars throughout. When the corrupt liars charge and prosecute corrupt liars I have a problem with that no matter what side the corrupt liars take.

That I can understand. When corrupt liars lie to corrupt liars with badges however, they take their fate into their own hands.

Let's review some things shall we?

- average time served for murder; 13.4 years
- average time served for rape; 4.2 years
- average time served for robbery; 3.2 years

Yeah, I can see where a 7-9 year sentence for not being clear about dates or praising Wikileak's release of DNC emails is warranted if you're affiliated with President Trump.

And on top of that the liars lied about the warrants and the premise of the warrants. Anyone else see the problem of such a harsh sentence for a liar? None of thos has to do with justice, it's a political attack via misuse of government power.
If Stone was a socialist you leftists here would have been shrieking like the banshees you are as soon as you heard a warrant was issued.

And yet Central Scrutinizer and BHU want to whine about it.

The hypocrisy on the left is nothing short of extraordinary. A coup was attempted by the Deep State. It failed. The Special Counsel investigation uncovered process crimes totally unrelated to alleged Russian collusion for which they found no evidence thereof.

I think you will see Trump immediately commute Stone's sentence to time served or something similar, followed by a full blown pardon when he leaves office.

In all fairness, there is a big difference between sentence and time served. It's also compares state crimes to federal crimes. Federal crimes require you do 85% of your sentence, while many states will cut you loose after less than 50%.

I agree that a 7-9 year sentence is BS in this case. But what's being floated around as proportional sentences is an apples to oranges comparison.

If you go to the link I provide it contains the average sentences as well. I still contend that 7-9 years for not clearly remembering dates or cheering Wikileaks exposing the Dems is highly excessive. Especially in light of the fact that the "whistleblower" and Vindman are both being heralded as heroes.

I saw Chuck U. Schumer saying that the inspector general should look into
the recommendation for Stone's sentence to be reduced.

Stone's sentence was harsh because he is a Trump ally.

Schumer also said something along the lines of our system depends on
equal justice under the law.

His hypocrisy in that statement is off the charts.

The article states:

Persons released from state prison in 2016 served
an average of 46% of their maximum sentence
length before their initial release.

That's why we have the crime problem in this country.
