I'm pretty well squared away. Maybe a few more bricks of .22, like I really need it. Reloading components.

I suspect most are well stocked in the gun category.

Instead of $800 being spent on the next gun.... probably smarter to purchase ammo.

Remember your history? The Patriots nearly lost the American Revolution because of a lack of black powder. NOT... a shortage of muskets.

..........

Yeah.... from a survival point of view, many more bricks of .22 are probably the smartest purchase.

Nothing.

Regardless in a couple months I'm putting back 40 AR parts kits, after I build some more secure storage, but that's been the plan for a couple weeks.

Probably an AR10 if I had to pick another gun.

But really I plan on buying ammo, more ammo and then just a bit more ammo.

Probably good on 22lr ammo for rest of my life. I got a little carried away once it dropped to 4 cents a round and was commonly found.

I am thinking of buying magazines and ammo. I may make this a habit for a while, depending on how fast and what the politicians end up doing.

We don’t have a need for anything.

Might buy some stripped lowers, simply because they’re so inexpensive currently.

Am always looking at primers, powder & projectiles tho. Currently a 25% off winchester primer rebate, for folks whom play the rebate game. Powder I wait until a sale, free shipping or free hazmat deal.

The math isn’t there for reloading much (for us & what we do), AT THE MOMENT, however it absolutely will be again. Unfortunately. Sure is always relaxing & gratifying tho, so there’s that.

Folks whom haven’t stocked up on magazines in there platforms(s), now is absolutely the time, price & availability wise! Be mindful that they are a consumable, sure some are extremely hardy & repairable, but still a consumable. So stock accordingly.

So for folks whom have the space, and can afford to set on some stock & learn a decent skill (while not rushed), I recommend considering reloading.

Set back what magazines you consider reasonable, for your and your families needs now. Consider if you could never buy one again...

Buy ammo for the ones you have and good reloading supplies to include lead and a good propane fired smelting kit with bullet molds for just in case the SHTF.We have muzzleloaders in our compound also just for that moment.

Nothing new. If anything I've reduced the number of guns the last few years. I'd rather be good with one particular rifle than have several rifles that don't get used often enough for me to stay proficient with.

I've been set for quite some time now so I'm upgrading some of my optics. Just put a Nightforce NX 8 on one of the small ARs and a Shepherd 6-24 on the big rifle. Clip on night vision, lights, laser pointers, stuff like that.

If you are buying ANYTHING in reaction to this crap, you probably need to reassess your idea of “prepping”.

You should already have the guns, and the ammo. Prices and opportunity have been right for a while now.

But “more” ammo and accessories like scopes, mags, night vision etc. are not a bad thing to continue buying.

And like Nomad, if you are looking at “investing”....for money or for “whatever”...jumping in now makes sense. They aren’t going to be any cheaper.

Nothing except for a rifle upper for the PA10 pistol.

I did buy some 30 round mags for the 92’s/Storm Carbine/Girsan but that was planned before.
If I see some AR10 mags on sale I’ll grab some of those, but again, that was planned.

I don’t need anything at all.

I'm always looking for a used revolver, but they are few and far between. I have enough guns and ammo, but for those that don't, reloading is a must do. Think primers......you can do most anything else, except a primer!

Above m151 mentioned casting bullets. This is a VERY good ting to get into doing. Not too long ago, I started powder coating cast bullets instead of the conventional size and lube. What a difference! Don't get me wrong, you still need to size the cast bullets, but you can use one of those LEE sizers and they are cheap. Look into it!

More mags for AR-10, more pills for .45ACP, and 45-70. Otherwise, pretty well have what I need.

Would buying a high air powered rifle or say crossbow be a good idea for self defense just Incase a ban does go into effect?

I’m thinking about adding a lever action, that would replace my ar if/when a ban goes on them?

What caliber would be best for all around hunting, self defense for a lever action?
