first and formost, i love my tantal.. but im curious. have any of you(tantal owners obviously) ever replaced the saftey... the selector bugs the crap out of me... on mine at least is so stiff its only good to put the saftey back up.. cant take it off safe vial the the thumb selector. in theory id like to put one of the enhanced saftys on it.. i see no reason why one wouldnt work.. but id figure id ask before i wasted money and time. have any of you done this ?

have you tried taking it off, cleaning, polishing and relubing it. should loosen up over time.
kinda needs to be a wee bit tight tho. makbe make the thumb knob a little more surface area like a knob added on maybe....

Aye I have... minus adding a knob.. I don't think it was ever intended to manipulate the safety like its set up now however.. just seems to be there for cosmetic reasons..
