I can only tell you what my granddad used to do -

Mix paint with arsenic and paint - House is about 110 years old with very little damage

Former pest control technician here with a few questions:
Type of construction? Crawl space? Slab? Full basement?
Does your drinking water come from a well?
Subterranean termites or drywood termites?
Do you have termites now?
Is your house currently for sale?

Run a shallow trench around your foundation and apply Termidor HE in the amount the packaging states. This is what all the good pros do now. Simple, effective, and not too expensive.
