Taking a 24 hour trip soon and wanted recomendations for audio books. I loved the One Second After Series and wanted something along those lines. Any podcast recommendations would be great too. Sorry, I know there are probably several threads on this already. Thanks in advance!!

Franklin Horton's The Borrowed World series is real good. The audio version of Alas Babylon is very well done. I've got about 500 audiobooks so it's kinda hard to pick out the best ones. I've got a series by Bruce "buckshot" Hemming called Grid Down. The writing is OK but the female that reads it will make you want to shove an ice pick in your ears.

Dies the Fire, by SM stirling.

Although I listened to that one right before One Second After and found OSA very dull and unlikable by comparison.

But in general I'm a huge audiobook fan and have many hundreds of them in my library. I could go on and on with recommendations but Dies the Fire is one of my all time favorites so I will start there.
