You do not need to consider their opinions. Just know that they had the courage to express such opinions in current climate of the RCC.
Are any of them Church canonists discussing the application of Canon 915 of the Latin Church's Code of Canon Law? If not, who cares about their alleged courage?

Our priests will not offer the Eucharist - even to Orthodox Christians - who are not properly disposed to receive it. When in doubt, parishioners are advised to approach the sacrament of Confession before they approach the Chalice on Sunday. Our priests will hear confessions up until the start of the Divine Liturgy or by appointment.

For many centuries, that was norm in the RCC as well.
I believe it is the obligation of the Bishops and Priests of the RCC to LEAD their flocks. This should include teaching of the morals of the Catholic Faith, and the attempt to avoid scandal. Allowing the reception of the Holy Eucharist by those who openly flout the laws of the Church causes scandal. That such people are allowed in many places to receive with no impediment - implies that they are approved of by the Church.

While I am not catholic, as far as Im concerned, it is a choice between the person and God. And, if I were Biden, I would read the rule book several times before I went thru the ceremony. It is a sacrament that is NOT to be taken lightly by us. If you are willfully standing against God, especially openly and publicly causing others to stumble, you are "Eating and Drinking DAMNATION to fall upon yourself". This is plain and clear. We are all unworthy, but this CHOICE needs to be made with a clear heart, acknowledging, sincerely, our weakness, failure, meanness, and willfulness to do right. Otherwise, we make Jesus' sacrifice meaningless.

The remarks I included in this post were offered by self-identified lay Roman Catholics who live in various parts of the United States. I intentionally excluded remarks made by ordained clergy.

I am not familiar with the term Church "canonist" nor the qualifications of those whom the Church assigns that title. Must they be members of the clergy? Are there lay canonists? Must they be Catholic? Can they be women? Women of "choice"?

It is clear that you're just a prog trolling in order to bash the Catholic church.

The Catholic church knows what it's problems are but in the current PC climate is not able to fix it's self. Similar to the US Army of the last 70s - a good traditional doctrine and values but not the will to enforce either. Serious structural issues and personnel shortages (likely unsolvable) make the organization largely disfunctional and headed by an inept (or worse) senior management. The Army had the will to fix itself and did. I don't think the Catholic church does or can.

I'll salute the Priest who showed Biden the door. This issue/problem is not new and goes back decades. In fact, name a prominent demtard that QUALIFIES for or should be going forward to receive communion. The list of degenerate elected dems is very very long. Beginning disqualifier would be active promotion of infanticide. "not mine to judge" is idiotic nonsense.

Not trolling. I seriously want to know how active duty (ie current, practicing) Catholics feel about this state of affairs. There appears to be conflicting opinions within the leadership of the Church as well as within the rank and file. The pope appears to concur with those who side with Mr. Biden.

I served in the US Army in the 70s and am a 57 year veteran if the RC Church. I retired from the papacy 90 days after Francis took office. And yes, I am grateful that I do not have to defend his actions.

If you are Catholic, thanks for your response.

We shall know them by their fruits. Biden's "fruits" pretty much speak loudly. I would not allow a pretender of his ilk in my Bible study group unless he was willing to repent:

Matthew 7:16-20

16 "Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."
