Default ACT-MAG brand mags for Sig P220?

Advertise Here

I just got a used LE trade-in Sig P220 through my FFL, and I'd like to know if anyone has had experience with ACT-MAG brand magazines for the P220? The one mag mine came with is marked made in Italy, so are the ACT brand ones. I'm seeing them on average $15 cheaper than Sig brand mags for the 8 round mags. The only other brand I can find for aftermarket mags are Promag and I refuse to even try them due to poor track records.

Any feedback on the ACT-MAG brand or a great source for Sig brand mags is much appreciated!

It been a while since I had my P220's, but Im pretty sure a number of the mags I had for them, were ACT mags. Assuming thats what they were, I never had any troubles with them.

I believe the SIG factory mags are made by Mec Gar, which are made in Italy.

I used to get most of my SIG mags and parts from Top Gun Supply. Great people to deal with and usually had pretty good prices.

While best to ask on a Sig forum (Like Sigtalk) many people have bought these and I have not heard one bad report.

As great as the factory mags are (MecGar made in Italy) I don't like the fact they are SS and prefer gray/black mags

You are correct stay clear of the Pro-mags unless you get lots of feedback.

Here is a direct link to ACT P220 mags:
