I actually live on the Georgia side of the state line(I-85) I can see Lake Hartwell from the house but, I am so far north in Georgia that I am usually left out of the Georgia events and get together. My wife and I are also over in the Greenville and Clinton area because that is where our kids and grandkids are. So, I would say I am more SC than GA.
Very true. Charleston was my last duty station and we owned a house in Summerville for just over 7 yrs. We are going back for the wife bday and to see friends and have some good food.
my middle daughter, husband and 3 month old jsut this week moved Back to "Between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach"

I was an AT in late 60s,staitoned in E city,, C130 crew, SAR and ICe Patrol.. , my brother is a retired warrant, Helicopters mostly , in AK , (Vietnam combat too on an 82 boat, in his first tour ) one of his wives was a Coastie,, and their grown son is a former Coastie.. living in FLa
Hello to you too. Not many of us Coasties around here so, it is good to meet you. Looks like your family keep the Guard well manned. I spent plenty of time in AK myself. The Guard was even nice enough to let me go to the middle east for 6 months...lol...I did just over 20yrs so, I had a good time. Retired BM.:thumb:
