I to have a gate keeper at my Bol. All guns are hidden and locked up.right now I have my Russian sks, mossberg 500, 8 shot. Marlin 30-30, Winchester 22 lever action. Couple 22 pistols. Plus I have all the ammo to back that up. 3000 rnds of 7.62.. 300 rnds of 00 buck. 20 boxes of 30-30, and thousands of 22's. This is just what I have at my spot. I wanted to have this setup in advance in case like you said, you might have to walk to your Bol. When I get their I will be set. If marshal law where to happen, and you got stuck at a check point, kiss your guns goodbye. Always have a backup plan in any scenario.

You do realize that dry ice is frozen CO2 and as the chemical formula insinuates, CO2 is one carbon atom with two OXYGEN atoms... There are far better gasses to use for oxygen exclusion than CO2... Argon, Nitrogen or Helium come to mind...
