I'm in N.M. Might be interested in events. I'm hours awAy from any major city though. Amarillo is the closest big city, 3 hours away. So I would have to plan ahead to go anywhere.

Prepping/Survival skills.
Personally I would like to keep it a-political and keep all the conspiracy stuff out of it.
Discuss various aspects including but not limited to:
The usual survival skills, clothing, communications, various laws, rules and regs., without divulging into too much the political realm except to discuss the matters at hand.

Staying current on various legislative aspects, outdoor skills, radiation, water issues (sanitation, cleaning) etc.
get togethers, etc. This would also be specific to NM and surrounding areas that involve our climate and unique area.
Political issues only so far as to work with or counter those things that need to be addressed.

I have been reading a lot of other information lately that does not just surround guns and camouflage. But things like pictogram signals and other forms of communications that involve those things that folks can use in a pinch.
Learning to use various communications systems including HAM radio, scanners, etc.

Learning how to overcome the new problem of hacked vehicles, and dealing with the tracking systems in place. Going rustic and off grid. Understanding that going off grid means other things.
Gun talk, survival, situational awareness etc is definatly welcome, but I don't want to make it just about.

Additional ideas welcome.

Additional items would include the usual and obvious stuff: Outdoor medicine, trapping, various forms of gaming (food), food storage, and those things where networking would come into play. Id like to make it a bit more than a simple social grouping to cuss and discuss. But more on actual application and use of those skills. Its all fine and good to talk about it, but it different to actually do.

No white supremacy, no "identity" stuff, none of that sort of thing.

Due to distance it may be hard, except online. Perhaps an online group and try meet ups if people are able to get there.

Distance is my issue also down here in the south east. Albuquerque isn't that though. If there is some kind of event that is going on that relates to prepping, etc I would make the effort to go.

Hello,

I am located in the East Mountains near ABQ. If a NM group were to be formed,I would be interested. I am fairly new to NM,born and raised in the Smoky Mountains, transplanted to Colorado Rockies for a few years.

I'm interested in the Ham radio aspect. I'm a little far for anything else. I live in the Four Corners area.
