I would fill it with adult beverages.

But...
That's just me.

I use my extra as a meat cooler during the warmer
hunting months. October is still warm enough for meat to turn quickly, so we just stick elk quarters in the extra refrigerator.

That does mean that the rest of the time it's empty and unplugged, though, so you may decide to utilize it during the rest of the time.

My son-in-law uses the extra refrigerator as a fermenter for when he brews beer.

My niece got her husband a used fridge with taps added to the door. Right now beer kegs are going real cheap with taverns shut down.

An extra fridge in the garage is great for when company stays, big meals, or for a beer after cutting grass and turning wrenches. OP said its not a freezer but in all likelihood there is a freezer with it.

If you keep fridge in garage during cold weather, produce may freeze. Depends how cold it gets in garage. This is not uncommon and has been discussed.

My garage fridge I keep beer on the top level, extra butter and cheese in the middle racks cokes in the bottom, in the doors right now we buy 8 gallons of milk and I keep 4 gallons in the outdoor fridge "we have a family of 6" and only hit the grocery up now every two weeks". I like having poweraid, corona 'guests', yungling, judge roy bean, blue moon, goldschlager malibu rum "drink straight", I keep chocolate up top in the egg crate. I always leave extra room for any extra casseroles cooked by mom unexpectedly "ever other week have an awesome mom" or in the past box pizza. I love the freezer outdoor with it. I use it to store heirloom seeds in a cloth cooler, extra racks of meat, a couple 5-10 bottles of water for the beach, popsicles for the kids, and leftover meat/meals.
