Does anyone have any experience with the Zombie Tools Apokatana or the Zakasushi? Im thinking of buying one or the both of them. Any input I can get from anybody would be greatly appreciated.

Are these for the cool factor or are you going to actually use them?

They are a local company here. They used to try and sell stuff my swordfighting group back when they where getting started. We kinda laughed at them and tried to get them to join up and learn how to fight before they tried to 'invent' a sword so they would have some idea how to use them. They declined. I think they honestly make more money selling cool bumperstickers than they do metal.

There stuff is all big heavy choppers with no balance. Slabs of steel with an edge and no distal taper. 'Swords' made for people who will never swordfight.

They would be fine for making firewood. Being so thick and heavy they are pretty tough. The best thing I can say for them is that you will probably never break one, and they have GREAT marketing for their target audience. They dress and act like a metal band and their bumper stickers really are pretty cool until you've seen them fifty times.

You would get torn apart in seconds if you actually went up against someone with a real sword who knew how to use it.

So it depends on what you want, if you want stylish crowbar with an edge, go for it.

If you want an actual sword...Trying searching for DelTin
