I have always known acorns could be eaten but never knew the process. This guy does a very good job of explaining it.

Acorns are a super food, loaded with protein, fat, carbs, and a lot of different vitamins. I eat quite a bit of acorn flour as pancakes. 2 cups of acorn flour, 1 large egg, half tea spoon salt, 1 tablespoon honey, 2 tablespoons of butter, Cherokee acorn Pancakes. I can't take a step right now at my land without stepping on acorns.
