Especially if you get the family economy size that resembles a 5 pound fire extinguisher.

I was issued Def Tech, it worked on most people, had no effect on some, there were a few that it just made them even more POed. Later the armorer switched to Sabre Red. It was an improvement.

In the England they can't even have pepper sprays. I use small cans of DEET if I am in England.
Good info. Just one discrepancy, which is using DEET. Same concept of criminal liability, unless you're camping in the woods and can justify having DEET on you. I could be wrong.

Reviving this old thread rather than starting a new one. After reading through here I decided to buy Sabre brand pepper spray. Got the 3-IN-1 Sabre off Amazon for $6.99 then was in Bass Pro this morning and they had Sabre Red for $4.99. So I bought that too. I do want bear spray for actual bears but I will pick that up before my next camping trip. Now my Jeep has a pistol with spare magazines and extra ammo, several knives, a taser and pepper spray. My Jeep ain't afraid of anything now! LOL.

Did you change clothes immediately, wash up with just lots of water or maybe baby shampoo?

Not sure what you mean by storage, but pepper spray is an aerosol. Therefore, it must be kept out of direct sunlight and can't be stored above 120 F.

Fox recommends replacing cans every 3 years.
