Default Braum's Ice Cream Sundae

I visited OK once for a couple of weeks. I flew into Tulsa and my cousin from Kay county picked me up there. On the way out of town we stopped at Braum's and I had a Reese's peanut butter cup sundae that I have never forgotten.😋 When we returned to Tulsa he drove through Osage county, a beautiful drive.

I once read that Braums will not build a store more than 300 miles away from their HQ, which is in Tuttle...just southwest of OKC. Not sure if that still holds, but it was done so they could ensure the freshness of their product. Basically, 300 miles was how far a truck could drive in a day and back.

Their burgers used to be really good, but have gone downhill of late. The ice cream though cannot be beat.

Wish we had Braums in Vegas. Ice cream out here is terrible. Missing Blue Bell too.

Braums used to be, USED TO BE, really good. Their service and customer relations have gone downhill in the last decade - so much so that they are one of a few businesses on my "perma-ban" list. I will never spend a dime in a Braums, ever again.

I have a really good life-long friend that used to be fairly high in management and he echoes my sentiment.

I am glad that you had a great experience with them, although surprised. The last few times I was in a Braums, the stores were dirty, and the food was just eh..
