If your church had (or has) Matins and/or Vespers or another service daily/nightly, would (do) you go? Would it make a difference if there were Holy Communion at these services? If you could pick the time, what would it be?

I miss Vespers... Wish I could find an LCMS church that had Vespers with Holy Communion every night... i'd prefer midnight or later...

Evening formal prayer service... kind of like a shortened regular service. I liked the late night ones because the church was quiet, peaceful, and reverent. The prayers always seemed extra relevant... intercession and spiritual warfare were common, and the last prayers and benediction were always very comforting, especially during tough times [order of worship reproduced on Wiki at the link below...] Holy Communion, when, was especially nice... it had was added in to the order of worship, as it was not in the OOW for Vespers...

I would certainly consider it.

Not necessarily, though a Mass following Lauds would be a good start to the day.

A morning office would be my choice.

Matins would probably be more appropriate for an office after midnight. Vespers is an evening prayer.

It does have those services several times a week, and I go if I'm not traveling for work.

I find them very edifying.

"And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner."
Luke 18:13
