Sounds like my Savage Model 24 in 30-30 over 20 gauge is what you want. Then I'd throw in either the 10-22 or the Mossberg 640KS in .22 WMR.

Don't over think this. Given the task and conditions you have mentioned take a .22 and a .30-30. You could think about this for two minutes or two days and still not make better choices than a .22 and a .30-30.

Moose aint exactly friendly either .

My picks for Alaska in below photos. The bull was taken at 226 yards with the M14S/ ammo/ scope.....northwest of your location.
Been thinking about taking a stainless steel 18inbbl Ruger GSR left hand 308 the next time I hunt Alaska.
