Well, it was a good Fall. Good weather, not too much rain, just a bit of frost.

All that is over for at least the next week or so.

Hope your wood is stacked and dry and the flue is clean!

Me, I'm a dork - I stripped out the threads on my snowblower for the spark plug - it's at the dealers now. First plug threads I've stripped in 30 years. What a pain.

I am actually hoping that we get a very light snow fall and it gets down between 30 and 20 here for Deer Hunting Opener. And hopefully no wind.

Against all expectation, Fall is still beautiful here. We still have not had a frost and there are still beautiful fall colors like I've never seen before in over 50 years.

Of course this could all change in a matter of hours,. You just never know with Colorado weather. So, we just enjoy each remaining beautiful day.

Oh, the driving. Where to start. I would love to know about what I've deemed as the 'Minnesota 60'. That's where no matter the speed limit or what lane they're in they hit 60 MPH and stay there, period. Doesn't matter if there's a million cars behind them or speed limit is 1000 MPH. They hit 60 MPH and that's that.

Merging? What merging!!! HA!

79% of people here (Minnesota) do not understand this "merging" that you speak of It must mean merging in to another vehicle to them.

Know how ya feel. We must be in the same corridor. Over 14" in my yard now in one sitting, in NOVEMBER. I hate it after last year. Seems like I just put the snow thrower away and here I am again digging out over and over and over.

We have land in the South a bit and my company just jacked with my PTO hours for the next few years taking 4 weeks away from us. Might be a fine time to go while the goings good and move to the land (upper 60's there next week....nice.... and only averages 6" of snow for ALL of January).

So far December has been pretty mild, lots of 20's and low 30's. It can stay that way ALL winter if it likes!

Then again, there's not quite anything like a good -50 windchill to wake you up when you first step outside in the morning!!
