The DNC Goes Broke

"While Americans are focused on a government shutdown precipitated in large part by America’s debt crisis, the fundraising arm of the party that advocates spending trillions of dollars in borrowed money has a debt crisis of its own. As a result of spending during the 2012 election campaign, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) is nearly broke, even as it struggles to pay its own vendors"

Aside from their money problems I would say they are morally and intellectually broke as well. It's no small wonder that they have become a victim of their own irresponsibility they are shoving onto the rest of the country.

- as the liberals go, so goes the nation.

Also interesting how obama has setup his own separate money laundering operation outside the DNC. Seems like he is creating his own little war chest in order to prop up his dictatorship.

The DNC claims to have $4.6 million in the bank and $20.5 million in total debt. Seems like it runs things like Oturd. The DNC committee owes about $5.5 million of its total debt to creditors.

The RNC by comparison says it raised $48.4 million in September and had a massive $82.6 million in the bank.

2014 is going to be a blood bath for Democrats with Obamacare hanging around each of their necks along with the countless Obama scandals.

Obumbler and the Paidcrats won the election by spending other people's tax dollars on government jobs, contracts, welfare, the promise of free healthcare and other benefits to sure up their paid supporter base --- pumping up the deficit to 17 trillion. They spent a lot of money demonizing Romney and the Republicans instead of talking about their failed polices and incompetent leader. Now that the country is broke, they are squawking about how the Republicans are hurting their paid supporters in government jobs and contracts by the partial shutdown. Sooner or later, the democratically inspired cash crisis will come home to roost in America. It is only fitting that it will also come crashing down on the Paidcrat party that has enjoyed tremendous success by buying votes at a terrible cost to those who must pay for it all. 2014 can't come soon enough.

I agree with all of you!

As much as I would love to see a "blood bath for Democrats" in the next election, I too will believe it when I see it.

The biggest problem, as I see it, is that the democrats and media are one and the same. Coupled with an apathetic and gullible populace that believes everything they are spoon-fed from the alphabet soup "news" outlets.

But I also don't see a big turnaround in the direction the country is headed if the republicans take control. they will slow things down some but there are far too many corrupt, statist / rinos in the GOP.

I feel really bad for the poor democratic national committee for being broke. That's so sad. Let me play the worlds smallest violin for them.

A few things...

2014 will be decided with a half dozen or so Senators in swing states. The republicans are favored in many of these.

The Democrats still don't get that winning state houses is important. Instead, as soon as a Demo mayor (Booker) or governor gets some traction, they run for Senate and off to DC. Republicans may lose on the national scale, but they now control the majority of states (30 governorships, many statehouses).

The republicans could lose 10, 15 or even 20 House seats and still control the House. The Dems in the Senate can't lose more than 3 or Reid is the Minority Leader.

If the Dems lose the Senate and the Republicans maintain the House, Obama will limp and quack the remaining two years of his term.

Default Defund the GOP too!

Glen Beck suggests that all republicans donations be made to specific campaigns and not the RNC to end the power of the Republican party apparatchiks over elected Republicans.

Of course the Democrats misunderstand this but he has a point, imagine if only local money were used, how much power we as citizens would have?

I think that this is really GREAT news. Hopefully this will stop Hitlery Clinton and "Hanoi" John Kerry from running for president in 2016.

and I bet that report doesn't include the $10m line of credit from Duke energy that was never repaid and was finally taken as a write-off this year...that was money spent on the big DNC party in Charlotte...and there was approximately an additional $5m spent on side parties, and other facilities and services not included in that $10m that also were never repaid...the DNC just walked away crying poor mouth..and left the people holding it...oh btw..they just approved a major rate increase for Duke...nice huh...

The charlotte leadership knew full well that the needed up front funds weren't there...but they kept it quiet as they could and allowed this thing to go foward with the help of Mr. Rogers from the Duke board...and of course that ended up with a couple sweet spot positions in DC for charlotte politicians..like our ex-worthless mayor..what a sorry joke our political system has become.

Leading up to the 14 elections there will be endless sabotage, ballot stuffing, hard balling for illegal votes......on and on. The liberals could have 3 cents in their pocket and if looking vulnerable, Hollywood, Soros and all similar connections with come running to the rescue.

Conservatives should stay on message of responsibility and global projection and not get drawn into petty spats about social issues that don't factor to the immediate need. Newt Gingrich is very good at that tactic and displayed it in the recent debates. Basically: don't ask me stupid, tabloid questions and expect me to respond nicely.

Let the health care act fall on its face. It's the biggest gift conservatives will ever get. Allow the people to experience the deceptive joy of global socialism in the USA for a few months and then open the polls. Not even Soros can stop one person's anger over doubling insurance; he can only fund the libs to make it sound less horrible.

Not that suprising really, the 14 democrats that had jobs have had their hours cut because of obamacare. They'll get their money the same way they always have, by stealing it from those who have earned it.

Don't worry, between Al Gore's latest global warming money-scheme and Bill Clinton's new Cigar/Real Estate business, the debt will be paid off in no time...
