Default Scope mounts

I have a winchester model 54. I've been searching for a scope base that might use the dovetail notch and front receiver screw holes for an extended relief scout scope type setup. Wondering if anybody might have any leads?

I don't think you're going to find anything like that made commercially.

B-Square used to make them, I'm fairly certain I have the model 94 type in my optics box from a project that never went forward.

Get an old Shooter's Bible.

In the back it'll have commercial gun parts and accessories listed for the guns that
were popular when that gun was produced.

Try for one printed in the mid 1950s.
