Are there really two versions of the Advantage 1000 mask?

Hi guys! Been a while since I posted here, still been preparing in any little way I can.

I picked up a really good looking full-face respirator at a thrift store the other week. It looked to be in good repair, airtight, no obvious damage. It's an MSA mask, and I heard they made masks for the military and industry. The serial code on the side read 7-1293-1. When I googled that I got this PDF:

So it's an Advantage 1000. That PDF also referred me to part number 805408, which described its uses as industrial and mining. However there's another side to this mask. This PDF referred to a military/police version:

I can't really see any difference between the two other than some accessories, drinking port on the bottom, CS/CB canister, id tags. My question for anyone who knows, IS there a difference between these two? They have different model numbers but it might be a case of marketing splitting the same product into two models to direct them at two different markets. I really hope so.

I'm not sure how well this thing will hold up to NBC conditions, but I'm hoping it'll protect me against 'crowd control' with the proper canisters.
