Gosh, I bet more nunchuck users hurt themselves than others. :-)
Glad that the courts went the right way in this case.

Wonder if the law was enacted because some kid whacked himself in the head with the chain sticks and next thing you know the mommies are crying into the camera and demanding a law?
Just saw a woman on TV blubbering about how all phone use in cars has to be stopped because her dim-bulb daughter crashed into the back of a parked truck at 70mph while texting. Bet you fifty bucks the mom had ridden with the daughter while the daughter was using the phone and didn't say a word about it.
Now bump stocks are illegal because some idiot let his LBFM wife screw up his mind so bad that he went on a killing spree.

Well, those are certainly excuses, not reasons, they use to restrict everyone else's liberty. Funny, people who push paternalistic ("for your own good") laws, it's always *other* people's liberties that get trampled, eh?

Unreal. Fears inspired by KUNG FU MOVIES in the 70's made lawmakers fear people would be killing each other in the streets with nunchucks...hence the law. It took FOURTY FOUR years to undo that ridiculousness.

Remind you of anything?

So, what about the billy club? Shouldn't that also be legal? Many states and localities outlaw them for some reason but they are simple and effective weapons.

You are right. same with switch blades. 70s movies portrayed them as the preferred method of killing innocent people so there was an outcry because everyone knows "autos" are scarier than a kitchen knife.

What's the ruling on asshat clowns juggling bowling pins - high capacity assault weapons.
