Starting a new job with policies against conceal carry. Area not real sketchy but pretty good haul from parking lot to office. So I want pepper spray and or taser. Want both but which would be first to grab? Pepper spray I would think since it is a little more distance using.

The Sabre is what we carry here.
I haven't been sprayed with it but the wife accidentally fired mine off getting outta the car after borrowing my keys.

A residual was still at the top so I wiped it off with my finger not thinking twice. A couple minutes later I touched my lower lip and it went numb. I'm assuming that's a sign its gotta be pretty good.

Ended up buying a couple of sabre that about as big as the palm of your hand. Expiration date is 1/2022 so that makes me happy.

Got a couple of rechargeable police stun / flashlights. Too big for pocket carry. Reasonably bright but with the switch hard to select strobe or beam. Can't use the stun when flashlight on. Don't like that. Overall good for the car. Really need something more compact wife can put in purse and me in pocket.

My wife was putting her taser in her front pocket and she set it off. Left two red marks which lasted a while/days she jumped and refused to carry it again. They do work. A longer hit would really do some work. Hers was only a split second

Stun guns are not tasers, stun guns are pretty much useless in a self defense situation IMO, especially by someone weaker than the attacker. Get a good quality pepper spray, do your research first. Tons of demos of brands and types on YouTube.
