Yeah, guys over on CPF do really detailed reviews. But it's almost pointless these days nit pick one over the other when so many flashlights are awesome.

Hello from Alaska,
This time of year with the not much sunshine, I think I could give a real honest opinion and workout for one of these flashlights.

The light would be yours to keep.

Being able to share pictures of the light and a review on social media would be great.

Suggestions and input would be nice.

Would you would be interested in doing a review, please post a reply.
Would love to try one of these in Alaska.
Not much sun light happening this time of year.

This still on? I'd love the chance to test one. If I have the choice nothing too big, and something with double A or triple A batteries.

I currently EDC a Browning labelled Tactical Hunter 120 L single AA flashlight. Kind of replaced a Streamlight penlight that takes 2 AAA batteries. I still like the Streamlight, but found it kept on crawling out of my pants pockets. That one replaced a Fenix, that I unfortunately lost.

No word of a lie; my EDC flashlight gets used nearly every day. I also use it for work, or in combination of a larger flashlight. One of my current favourites is a Pelican 2360 (IIRC). Didn't have a very high opinion of Pelican until that one, but I am very impressed with the quality. Well put together, nicely cut threads on the body, good battery life and output.

My flashlights regularly are subjected to cold temps, slight hydrocarbon contact, and water. A couple were included on extended swims, in cenotes, in Mexico.

Hi there.
I started a dialog with one of the staff at Thor. I gave her a brief overview of what we would use these lights for in Alaska, and she felt it would be a great fit. She said that she would send one, but it's been a couple months and hadn't seen it yet. I did followup a couple times but didn't get a response.

I did this last year. They sent me two codes to get two flashlights for 99% off on Amazon.com. I did, got my flashlights and did the reviews.

They did e-mail me again in March of this year (2018) with an offer for 40% off a flashlight with a code to share. I responded back that I'd be interested in reviewing another flashlight of theirs that was just released. They sent me another 99% off code, but it was expired. I told them that. I am pretty sure that they told me to buy it and send in a copy of the invoice to receive a refund but I didn't see that response in my e-mail, so maybe that was for something else I'm mixing up. I didn't buy it, of course, so that was the end of that.

And I haven't received any other e-mails since.

Good flashlights, though. I actually bought an additional one to keep in the car.

That being said, I'm pretty sure that this deal is DEAD!!!!

Perhaps a mod could modify the thread title to say so?

Id like to give it a try. Ive utilized many differing lights during my years in the military and working in security. Some of the tests Id run would be luminescence, ruggedness, focus, any difference between physical and luminescent points, and battery life.
