So what happens if you plop down big $ for a BPV and then drop or add 30 pounds? Time for a garage sale?

Either diet or eat more. You can pull the panels/plates out and insert them in a carrier vest that fits. The carriers are not much, the plates cost you.

If it's dropping 30 lbs. of fat and you have to have one now, just take the hit of having to buy two and chalk it up to being one of the more minor consequences of bad decisions made in the past. If it's adding 30 lbs of muscle later, you may be able to get one that'll still fit. Depends on where you're starting from. If it's 30 lbs of fat added later, just don't.
