Most of them are crooks and non indicted career criminals. They just wear whatever team uniform, Dem, Repub, Ind, etc, will get them the most votes in their district.

If folks will ever wake up and accept that they are "on the wrong team", they will vote for folks that actually have their same interests and values. Just voting for your party is no good in the long run.

Trump's worst trait is that he actually fights back when attacked and he's especially evil for going after the media who attacks him. The country is more divided than ever before and it's all his fault. It's divided because traditional America has nothing in common with the enemy on the left which wants us dead.

Not a word about the economy, jobs, trade deals, north korea talks, china deals, nothing but negative.

Last night it was poor, poor, picked-on obama and how the mean old republicans wouldn't give him a break.

I've waited almost my entire life for a President that fights in my behalf.

Because Trump is NOT a typical Republican which 9 times out of ten will be found hiding under his desk or plotting with the enemy.

Yeah, I had that same issue with him long ago. He’s still the only person on my ignore list.

As usual, the Republicans are intent on bickering with one another instead of standing together in solidarity......

Let me make this dirt, frickin simple for all of you........

Politicians are interested in one thing, above all else..... RE-ELECTION.

We are all idiots when we listen to the conjecture in the news, and believe it..... sometimes the fake news. The RINO's will posture and prognosticate, cause they really have Repub's and Moderates reelecting them. They have to keep the Moderate vote... or a DemoTard will beat them.

Take Gardner for example.... from Colorado. He will have a VERY STIFF contender this fall in the ex-Governor, Hickenlooper. So he has to come out.... nearly as a liberal, POS RINO.... to get the votes to stay in office.

So, do I want Gardner or Hickenlooper????? Yeah, Gardner.... So I will tolerate his antics, as I know he is seeking the Moderate vote to be re-elected.

I agree some Republicans are weak, and that's what started the alt-right movement. Newt Gingrich seemed to do better back in the day but he's not in congress anymore.

Good saying.

I prefer my own personal quote:

I submit Republicans have always been "reactionary"

Republicans where founded simply as opposition to Democrats and to stop Democrat slavery.

That’s a long time ago, now. Time for them to **** or get off the pot.

Actually, that time is past.

The problem is that the US is like a ship on the ocean.

We could fix the US if it was in drydock, but we have to stay afloat when we are on the ocean.

Expediency is our natural state of affairs.

Telling us we need to affect drydock repairs out on the ocean is almost pointless.

Then it's agreed upon, repubs are useless, do nothing, fecal piles.

Now to more important matters, what do we do about the Demonrats who are actively destroying our country?

Run the ship aground, maroon them all, except the leaders who get hung, repair the ship properly, and leave them behind to start their own country.

Make root changes that affect how government operates.

If we pass the Fair Tax Plan, as an example, it comes with more subtle changes in how politicians operate. Lobbying becomes less useful and results in far less soft money for politicians and less influence from moneyed special interests.

It's about making a simple obvious law of common sense that ends up having knock on effects. Pitch the law as making good sense from the primary point while first anticipating how it will effect other things.

Hoping Congress will curtail its excess is pointless. Congress only wants expanding authority to stay elected and enrich itself. But you can drive a practical solution home because it is popular enough that politicians see it as something to milk in the next reelection, but in the end squeezes later politicians to behave in a manner that reflects the public's interest instead.

For mostly good, and sometimes bad, this is what Trump has been doing. He's been will to play the bad guy and take the heat. The USMCA is a perfect example. Libs like to complain about it, yet it gives workers in all the counties more protections and even strengthens environmental protections. Mexico and Canada become more equal partners, not screwing over their citizens in order to milk tariffs to get more government revenue. NAFTA was better for the governments of Mexico and Canada. They were filling their government coffers. But their people were being screwed by it on the job. And the US consumer was the group paying that money. The US consumer was paying a premium that enriched two governments and kept workers from 2 nations as serfs to the cause. Take home pay in the other two nations should increase even if jobs are lost. The lower end workers will need to either move laterally into more market viable low end employment or increase their skill set. This in turn will strengthen professional associations in their 2 nations. Thus meritocracy will be strengthened.

I would never dismiss that option because it constitutes the leverage, but I'd prefer avoiding the nuke option while there are still lesser tools to be employed.

Trump won't be removed because Democrats gamed the system 2 decades ago. Once we create a precedent both sides abuse it.

It's like the Patriot Act. Each side now abuses it when they hold the reigns.

So nuking the system would mean that it will just keep getting nuked again later.

Default Joe McCarthy was right - just 70 years ahead of his time

A LOT of republican pols suck. A lot of republican voters are deaf, dumb and blind sheep who STILL don't realize we are at war with the left which is run by communists.

The only thing worse than a useless republican is a democrat which is the same thing as a socialist, which is the same thing as a communist. With the avowed socialist and friend of communists bernie sanders leading the pack for democrat party, the point is made.

I just re-registered as (R) so I could vote in the upcoming primaries. Our current governor, Gary Herbert will be gone and we are looking for a replacement. So far the field looks interesting. Our primaries are where the carpetbagger romney got his hooks on the nomination. If you don't want RINOs and virtue-signaling "refugee" and illegal immigrant lovers, you need to weed them out at the primary. If you want strong 2A supporters, you need to vote in the primaries.

You also need to go to the town hall meetings and give the incumbents a piece of your mind. The rabid left seems to be able to get their scum-bags out to the meetings. I'd like to know what the hell happened to Mike Lee.

The Trump base is ANGRY. The Trump base KNOWS what's going on. If these POS republican back-stabbers don't get with the program, they're gone.

If a democrat wins in November, the USA is gone.

24% of this country identifies as liberal

America is predominately center-right

If we, as a country, just get off of our fat collective asses and vote, we will survive

It's when we get complacent, as we are now, that we slowly drift towards more socialism

Republicans and Democrats are the right and left wing of the same bird, a great big old Vulture picking at the carcass of America, taking the best pieces of this country's wealth for themselves with insider trading, and or kickbacks from foreign aid to country's that clearly hates us either openly or covertly, while throwing bits and pieces to the populous, in tax cuts and promised tid bits to the voters, for the promise of a vote while this country is struggling to get by without being taxed into poverty.

If we the People don't wake up soon, this country will erupt in a civil war that will tear it apart, while this Vulture fly's off to whatever hideaway it has secured with Our wealth to ride out the troubles in comfort
