Those air guns are awesome but rather $$$$.

Anything else a little more reasonable?

I am interested in a rechargeable .25 cal air rifle for small game, but the package needs to come in at around $500; pump, spare cylinder, scope and a thousand hunting pellets ...

I have break barrel, side cocker, and pcp air guns.
For the pcp I use a hi pressure air hand pump.
It's a royal p.i.t.a. to pump it about 125 times!
Break barrel and side cockers are almost as powerful and easier to use.
Pellets are cheap. I keep 10,000 pels on hand at all times.
I also have other fire arms and at least 15,000 rounds of .22 r.f.
Buy a brick now and then and it adds up quickly.
I have other rifles, shotguns, and handguns for "serious social purposes" if
need be.
I hope it never come to "if need be."
