The state of delaware is hosting this event on Saturday, September 20th, from 10-2 at the Agriculture Museum in Dover. Free admission, food, and giveaways. Below is a link to the flyer. Anyone plan on attending? It'd be nice to meet a few fellow preppers. I plan on attending as my in laws will likely be interested.

I would but I'm being persec-ish since I don't know anyone in DE and my protection preps are mainly still in NV.

I'm going to try to check it out. I'm very new to the boards and the prepping community in general. I'd love the opportunity to meet others in Delaware.

I didn't go. I don't feel like standing there listening to all their amateur prepping advice...

We also didn't attend because it was being run through the state agencies and FEMA. I went to the required state run training on Thursday and wasn't surprised at the lack of prepared people in attendance. I was kind of hoping it would have had some vendors like Mountain House or something.

I'm in central Arizona for the last 5 years; about 3 years ago a prepper store opened up - last year they moved to a bigger location, last year a prepper fair filled the local arena/convention center for a one day event that was very hectic - this year they expanded to the full weekend - this is from a professional production company that has a couple like events down in Phoenix each year, we also just had a small "amateur" event in it's second year - built around the aforementioned local prepper store and our LDS community, some home-businesses (Thrive etc.) and government agencies including CERT.
