I am not sure how much longer ill be in OK it could be a week or years. Where do yall go to hunt I am interested in pigs and squirrels I might be able to go hunting this deer season, but I dont want to go if the lands are going to be full of people hunting.

Where do you like to hunt and what do you like to hunt?

I am not interested in trophies just food.

I have spent all but a couple years of my life hunting and fishing Rogers, Mayes, and Wagoner counties, with some time spent in Cherokee county here and there. Lots of squirrel in the woodland areas around the lakes here. I like to hunt mostly on Corps land along Brushy Creek, Chouteau Creek, and GrandRiver near Chouteau when I look for squirrel. We have started having hog problems here within the last few years. There are some down in the bottoms along Grand River, but it's some thick undergrowth where they hide. I recently got permission from a local farmer, between Chouteau and Mazie, to hunt hogs on his place any time, so if you look at some of the areas around there you could probably secure hunting privileges for hogs easy enough. It's just too bad we can't jacklight hogs like they can in Texas.

What area of the state are you in, and how far do you plan to travel to hunt?
