Heat rises and circulates the air inside -- put the air drying thingy at the top so the warmed air passes it thus drying -- the cooler-dryer air falls -- repeat - repeat --

When I laid up the vette for the winter I kept a 100 W drop light just off the floor mat -- circulated the air but did nothing to dry it till I put 10 coffee filters filled with silicone based cat litter across the dash board -- once a month I dump them in her cat box and replace -- with a hydrometer it was never over 45% humidness
