I don't know if you would call it a prep or not...I guess it would depend on your palate. I found Louisiana hot sauce on sale here for 44 cents apiece so I picked up a few.

We have a ventless gas log set in our fireplace....

We have a ventless gas log set in our fireplace. Not ideal I know, I wish it was vented and wood. Anyway, we got the propane tank filled today and made sure the fireplace was going to work well....

I just went to the grocery store and stocked up on some meat that was on sale. I picked up some steaks, chicken and hamburger meat. I also got some canned chili, crackers and canned fruit.

I got a Swing-A-Way can opener from Bed, Bath and Beyond to replace the piece of crap walmart special I threw away because it wouldn't open a single can. :mad:
