So much hate for Cam.

I haven't followed his career. Does he have DUIs, rape accusations, or beat his women unconscious?
Not that I know of. He's just a classless punk who makes his team and city look bad on a national level.

From what I can tell, he has behaved since leaving the Barn. He had a history of dirty deeds in college plus his dad was auctioning him off to the highest bidder. Auburn won for a reported 180,000 dollars. Real classy family.

Plus, he's a Barner and I'm a Bammer. Roll Tide

At least tell me you guys hate Ben ruthlessraper and Adrian childbeater Peterson as much? And that the praise they continue to receive is absurd?
I wouldn't wiz in their mouths if their guts were on fire. The image of that kid's shredded legs will stay with me forever. Plus, how many two year old kids can a man have before he has too many. I'm not too big on hero worship coming from ball fields and arenas. Some though use their fame for good while maintaining their character. I hold them in the same regard as the everyday guy who does the same.

NCAA investigation cleared Cam from all allegations. It was his father who wanted him to go to Mississippi State. The head coach there was Cam's offensive coach at Florida. Cam chose Auburn to be closer to his home in Atlanta. If he wasn't cleared he would not have won the Heisman nor the National Championship at Auburn. Just a jealous fan of another team. He may be a show off, BUT he has a childrens charity, and he gives balls to kids after scoring. He loves kids, and thus the superman act. He even calls on of Carolina's defensive players Captain America. He loves winning and hates loosing, thus he will be back and eventually win a Super Bowl. When he was at Auburn, he would help lead cheers for the defense when they were on the field. I saw that when the running back scored one time, he gave a ball back to him and pointed him to the end zone to give the ball away. So he has encouraged his teammates to give balls away when they score. The game is a TEAM sport, not just one person, and he gets tries to get his teammates up for a game. Denver's defense, is just awesome, and I give them credit. They stopped Brady and Cam this year. Made them both look bad. Although Cams stats were much better than Manning's, except for the two fumbles, but that was good defense knocking the ball out of his hand while trying to pass. Manning had the same thing happen, only once though. Cam is also no child beater or woman beater. His degree from Auburn is in Early Childhood Development.

I find the bolded and underlined statement ironic as heck.

Oh lord, don't remind me. A few years before that I had been working in NJ. As a Broncos fan I had to eat copious amounts of humble pie when the Giants stomped Denver while I was there. Shortly thereafter I moved to CA (roughly the Bay area) and suffer through a debacle against Washington and then San Francisco (another massive helping of humble pie). We aren't talking close games either, each and every one was a stomping of epic magnitude.

That is why I can appreciate a win so much. Broncos fans have paid their dues in spades over the years.
The funny thing was of those three super bowl teams, the team that played the 49ers was the most talented.

I've come to take my medicine.
So whack away.
When you're done though please tell me that you didn't think it was a "great game" because that would make me sad.
Unless of course you are a Denver fan.

To me Josh Norman said it all can't play two teams. The Carolina offense was terrible. Not that they weren't trying ( well most of them ) but you have to step up in those games.
I expected more from Newton as he's supposed to be the X factor. I blame the offensive coaching staff also. They couldn't set a game plan to get their receivers open or protect the pocket.
Denver defense did a great job of covering and rushing the passer they carried the day.

Simmer down Dixie, it'll all be OK. Cam isn't a looser, he is a loser. And a crybaby. I don't give two flips about who won SB 50 but despise all things Awbarn. Especially Scam, Malzahn, Pat Dye, and those dead trees at Toomers.

Sports (i.e. football) payed for my college degree :) while having fun and winning three National Championships in Div 1-AA. It also teaches some good life lessons that you can carry with you if you were in a good program with good coaches.

Oh, and I got to shake Bill Clintons hand, he just happened to be President at the time, at least it wasn't Obama.

Just a few rambling thoughts...

So I took the Friday off before the SB to attend to non work related stuff. I freely admit to being a NE fan having lived previously in Maine for 30 plus years. So, my boss who happens to be a NC fan took the opportunity to add a half dozen or so balloons to my cubicle in the Panther team colors. She also added a few hand written notes on them of how NE came up short this year along with a few unoriginal comments about deflategate, Spygate, etc. etc. etc.

When I arrived for work todaY SHE WAS ABSENT. Now perhaps she had a legitimate reason? (Dunno don't care) I simply moved the balloons from my cubicle to her desk. Didn't modify them in any othe way, haven't sent her an IM or an email...

Now before you believe I'm taking the high road here; let me inform you she writes my annual review and will decide if I merit a raise. Now before you want to question my man card, lets just say I can be a ruthless opponent and will exploit any advantage to achieve victory if the circumstances are warranted.

Sometimes the best decision is to simply walk away with your head held high. After all, its just a game. Nevertheless, allow me to make small pot shot at my boss and ask what does Cam Newton have in common with a Fig Newton besides their last name?

Answer: They both crumble under pressure. Far from original I know, so allow me to ask why wasn't Cam tired after the SB? Answer: Because he spent most of the day laying down.
