Damn. What an idiot. The scary thing is I'm not so sure he won't sell it. From what I have seen for every price gouger out there, there are 5 people waiting to buy it up.

My groupie of buddies that shoot and buy together flag every over priced thing we see on armslist and it still doesn't do any good. The amount of $.25 per round .22lr is ridiculous.

Why flag it? Just don't buy it if you don't want it. If some idiot wants to pay that much, then it's just a case of a fool and his money being parted.
You would stand idle while someone new to shooting paid 5 times what something is worth simply because they don't know any better? Your a helluva guy!:thumb:

Most of the people buying now are the same ones who said others were stupid for getting guns when they were cheap. CAll it a stupid tax.

What is something worth?

It's worth what the free market dictates.

IMO, leave 'em alone. The market will sort it out.

What stuff lists for on Armslist, really doesnt mean anything. I have seen some pretty stupid prices. But now if you go look on gunbroker, you can see what people are actually paying. The overpriced stuff on broker doesnt get bids.

But you never know I sold an AR recently, parts gun really. The upper was DPMS but the lower was a mix. Certainly not worth the 1200 I got for it. And only one person even inquired about it.

I've been down that path with a friend of mine. He has wanted an AK for a year or two and kept asking me, "What should I get?" I kept telling him "Get an Arsenal, can't go wrong for the price." He would constantly push it off until the panic started and he ended up buying the same Arsenal at the shop for $1500 when pre-panic it was $795. And his sole purpose was to "Flip it for a profit". I just looked, shook my head in agreement and walk away grinning.

Some people. I don't know.
