Apparently someone released of fifty plus wild animals at an Animal sanctuary in Ohio

This is one area where we "Muricans" don't have enough laws. Between the crazies with hundreds of poisonous snakes in their house and dozens of bears, tigers, lions, etc. they constitute a public hazard in some areas. The only thing standing in their way in most cases is local zoning laws. It's one thing if someone lives in BFE and doesn't have a neighbor for 20 miles, but most of these rascals set up shop just outside of small towns. I know of one "zoo" where the guy has lions and tigers, has a criminal record, he and his kids are on drugs and he manages to keep the animals. People there have told me it's eerie to hear a lion roaring 1/4 a mile away from their house knowing its owner is an idiot on drugs.

Is this still going on or is it contained now?

Keep your kids in the house, keep your doors locked, travel by vehicle, be armed if legal and possible and stay informed. I am sure those animals are also scared (not that this makes them any less dangerous) and they are not looking for confrontations with humans.

I am sure they will have this wrapped up in no time.

Last I saw they had three animals unaccounted for. A wolf, mountain lion and a monkey.

Yeah no kidding! I live pretty close to Dayton. They said they found and shot the Panther a few miles away from where I live! I was like wtf, what if I see that Grizzly bear they keep talking about! Can I shoot it or are they rounding them up?

^^^ Until you find a lion eyeballing your daughter in the sand box... Would you still think the same way?? Oh and animals just dont drop when they are shot with a dart like they do when they are on tv. I say the LEO's made the right choice
