So today i found out that the bait was eaten whole but the trap wasn't triggered. :taped:
Believe it or not in the middle of snare loop there was a poo therefore unknown animal probably marked the place in order to find food next time. The bait was an apple but i guess in winter time anything goes.
The area has bushes, oak, rocks and grass but no open fields so for sure no wabbits. I know this place. There are hogs, foxes and deer only.
The poo was delivered in one unit only, no pile and it was soaking wet probably because it was raining for 6 hours before. The crap was long but thin, like 2 inch x 1/2 inch with some white seeds in it. The color was dark brown to black.
Fox, hog or deer??
Next time i will just roll the bait with a thread or something to make it harder to steal and easier to trigger. hehe
