i'm always surprised by how restrictive some of texas' gun laws are...

it's strange to have (in some cases) better gun laws in washington/seattle than somewhere like texas...

cities are one thing, but the above state law is tough... 50 acres for a center fire OR rimfire? 10 acres for a shotgun?

sounds like one of those things where they try to limit it to the rich and those grandfathered in already....

i feel very lucky that i don't need 50 acres to go in my backyard and play with my guns...

Everybody shoots up,where my camp is and no one complains. It is legal and people are generally pretty safe. Somerset County, PA.

As an aside, the American Redoubt area looks a lot like the area that will be destroyed when the Yellowstone Caldera lets go, be it in 6 months or 600 years.

Montana

just bought property in northwestern montana-10 acres ...and you better believe you can shoot on your own property. Actually you can do whatever you want including building with NO permits! Neighbors are very friendly and all seem to want to help---we are all like minded individuals!
