magneticanomaly The Constitution is NOT where our freedom or power comes from. That we have from our Maker. The Constitution is the best attempt I know of to keep an effective Government from growing to the point where it violates those.

But, yes, read it. Good luck getting an audience. But, yes, read it.

BabyBlue The declaration is well and good, but I would like to see a regular reading of the constitution. THAT is where our power comes from.

The 16th annual William Howsare Memorial Public Reading of the 1776 Declaration of Independence will take place at noon July 4, 2017 in front of the county courthouse in Marlinton, Pocahontas County. All are welcome. For more information, call 304-799-7191.
