SSGNasty Steve, you might want to make an appointment with your family doctor. Sounds like you may need medical help for your condition.

clocker In Southern Arizona, it's ~7:15pm and **102F** with 23% humidity. Yuk.
Wouldn't mind some of that sweet, sweet rain...

SSGNasty I got a good chuckle from the armed guard at the entrance information.

I use a mask when I go into establishments. I'm not in there long and just don't see what the whining and crying about wearing a mask is all about.

Rockwell Torrey My Doc Holliday mask finally came. Bashas has some super sales so I'm off early. Wish me luck

Yup; was going to follow up on that. Since I'm still working out of the PHX operation, popped by the Walmart at 75th & Lower Buckeye today. No armed guard waiting to gun me down for not wearing a mask. The greeter could have passed as a doppelganger for the (former) face of Uncle Ben's Rice.

I think on this one the source missed it.

I will be in the PHX area again next week; good problems to have with volumes what they are. There is a Walmart near our West Valley office. May have to do a recon and see.

Rockwell Torrey One would think that the courts would be able to differentiate between a mask worn for infection control and one worn to facilitate an actual crime. One would think.......

In actual practice however, the armed robber that "wore a mask" would be able to claim that would not be an aggravating circumstance in their sentencing.....LOL.

I will resume OC in Walmart.

clocker So if masks are required, and there is a law against carrying while masked, isn't that a direct infringement on the 2A?

Whoops... Wrote too soon. From article at concealednation.org:
While Arizona has no known mask restriction laws relating specifically to the carrying of firearms, masks may be considered an aggravating circumstance if charged with another crime. This law is unlikely to be applied to the mere carrying of a lawful firearm while masked.

The Law: The trier of fact shall determine and the court shall consider the following aggravating circumstances:
During or immediately following the commission of the offense, the defendant used a mask or other disguise to obscure the defendant's face to avoid identification.

SSGNasty Yes, I agree with the antibody science. But, according to current research, you don't keep enough of the effective antibodies in your system like you do with other virus', so much like the flu, you can get infected with last years version even if whether you got it with or without the shot. The same is true with C-19, you can be reinfected as well as catching next years version when it shows up.

Also taught in elementary school.

Moar tales from Taylor

Late report, but my last trip to Walmart in Taylor had masks required, but not strictly enforced. Rumor has it Monday, that may change. The shelves were pretty much stocked to 'normal' levels; meaning Walmart seems to run out of stupid stuff sometimes.

Now my trip to Subway Thursday I hope will have some comic relief. Masks required, again not strictly enforced. A couple of vehicles pull up, one had to show off the rumble of their stereo. Two guys and a girl about in their twenties came in. The girl had one of those 'fashionable' black masks on. The two guys wore bandanas, sunglasses and ball caps. Yes, their mask 'etiquette' was very good; they wore their masks well up over their nose, actually just below their eyes. Kind of looked like Antifa, lol. Got their food, got in their vehicles, shook the windows and left.

An older lady, not really 'fat', but not slim came in. I fall well into that category, before the haters come along. On her hip for all to see, was a 1911. Might have been an officers model as it didn't quite look as large as what I carry; er, might carry; cough, cough. While she came in, she pulled up her mask as well. I guess that meme on Facebook saying you can't wear a mask if you're carrying a gun isn't true here, hehe.

Well, if I may most respectfully say this. It will have to mutate pretty much into a different disease for me to get sick again from a corona virus. And it won't be this one.

You and I are of the age when they actually taught us some stuff in elementary school. With the obviously poor reporting on this disease, I will fall back to that, meaning once you get a disease, your body builds anti-bodies to that disease, making you immune from it (if you survive it, of course).
