7.5x55 Swiss Not really tactical, but I have heard fantastic things about One Shepherd. Enough to where I might actually take the time to take a class there.

LOL. You +1'd your own recommendation. It's a good place, just guessing you forgot you had posted in the thread, then saw the recommendation 😂😂😂

DSC Mountain Guerrilla(I have never attended one of his classes but I know a few people who have. Mosby has the credentials and gets stellar AARs all across the web, at least from what I have read . Mosby is also probably my favorite firearms/tactical author. His blog and posts over on prepared gun owners are chalk full of great info)

Max Velocity Tactical has already been brought up but worth mentioning again.

Mason Dixion Tactical (this is his blog, I could not get his actual site to load right now)

Mountain Guerrilla, Max Velocity Tactical and Mason Dixion Tactical are more geared towards civilian tactical training but do train LE and Mil. They get great AARs and are pretty easy to get ahold of , if you have questions.

What is their background and the training of the instructors?

Are they recognized as "Expert Witnesses" by any Department of Justice at state or federal levels to speak for your training aptitude in a court of law?

Or did they just get rifted out of the military because they could not pass the next promotion board and decided to become "tactical trainers" instead of getting a real job?
Pretty simple to ask individual instructors if your state's POST recognizes them. Looking at Kinzei's list and Black Jack's list, I know every name on them is recognized by several, as is johnmcd's entry.

Bazooka Joe Combat Studies Group - mostly classes in Pacific NW
John Mosby/Mountain Guerrilla - most of the classes that he's posted have been in Pac NW, but he has done classes on the east coast, too. Idaho and Oregon are where I see them most commonly.
Max Velocity Tactical has a West training facility out of Spokane.
Insights Training Center in Bellevue, WA
Firearms Academy of Seattle which is actually half way between Portland and Seattle.

Kinzei Doc, I see you are in Texas, too. 360 Tactical has been on my radar for some time now. It's about a 35-40 drive for me. I did a fundamental handgun class with Aaron Cowan of Sage Dynamics at Falcon Tactical in Eagle lake. It's name has changed to "The Ranch". They bring in big names in the industry for 1-3 day classes. Aaron Cowan, Steve Fisher, Pat Mac, Larry Vickers, William Petty, etc. have all been through within the last year or so.

Max Velocity Tactical offers pistol and rifle courses, team patrol courses, etc. Most classes seem to be out West, but in October he's got some classes in Georgia.

OFFICIAL- Tactical Training Resources Thread

I am going to kick this off with some resources available in my state, it would be great if others did as well so we can have a resource available to all users.

If others participate in this I will make this a sticky at the top of the General, Pistol, and Rifle, and Military Weapons forums.

Despite the company names they offer LTC, basic firearms handling, and advanced skills classes for rifles, pistols, and shotguns.

Northeast Region- Tactical & Defense

ETTS

Southeast Region- 360 Tactical

Far West Region- Tactical Ranch

Central Region- Texas Tactical Training Institute

Krav K9 & Tactical
