charliemeyer007 My current (a few years old) laptop has 16 GB of ram. Seems like plenty as I run Chrome and Edge at the same time with about 10 tabs open and several things like ad blocker, privacy badger and some other stuff in the background at the same time. I seldom have issues other than windows Xtreme useless causes.

Watchingtheweasels If you like the Chromium based browsers, there are any number that you can chose from...Chromium itself, Brave, or Vivaldi.

Google Chrome - The Resource Hog

Tonight I opened up my task manager and noticed how much RAM Chrome was using. I knew it was a RAM hog but didnt realize just how much of one.

After doing some research I came across this article,

I thought it did a fairly good explanation as to why it uses so much and what you can do about it if you need to.

By the way, if you dont like Chrome because it is Google, I gotcha, no need to hear it repeated a 100 times here.
