MadPrepper I had a near shtf situation a few days ago when I bought 30 lbs of meat at a food service grand opening and had to defrost freezer #2 to find a place for it.

When I updated my spreadsheet inventory I only had 27 lbs of bacon...almost cleaned out!

Good news, I guess, is an ethnic market has pork sausage rolls 10/$10. I like my spicy sausage also. Probably buy 30 lbs next week.

About the only food item bacon doesn't go with is whipped cream or jello. Actually I could make a meal of bacon and cherry jello!

You, sir, are a disgrace to bacon lovers everywhere! What do you mean it doesn't go with whipped cream???

Maple-Banana Walnut Torte with Bacon Whipped Cream

Pumpkin Soup With Bacon-Flavoured Whipped Cream

Need I go on?

You mean it's not? When I was a kid, we had bacon on friday far more often than we ever had fish.

Mule Skinner I eat bacon on Friday to prove that I'm neither Muslim nor Catholic.

Prepping Bacon is proof God loves us.

This is why Moslems are forbidden the consumption of pork.

In all seriousness. what man, when making his own breakfast, eats only five thin strips of bacon?

The dude's question is like "What do I do with the other 463 corn kernals after eating my five?" or "What do I do with the other 42 potato chips after I eat my five?"

1/2 cup brown sugar (or maple syrup)

Directions:
1. Line a baking sheet with foil and set a cooling rack in it.
2. Spread the bacon out over the cooling rack.
3. Rub the brown sugar onto the bacon.
4. Bake in a preheated 350F oven until the bacon reaches the desired crispiness, about 15-20 minutes.
5. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes and then enjoy.

Then use the leftover (as if) in bacon chocolate chip cookies
Just crumble it up and mix it in your cookie dough, or put a inch slice on each cookie.

MMMMMM, bacon!
This may be one of the best posts of all time.

Its bacon for goodness sakes, nature's candy! What makes you think there is anything left over.

IdahoGard'ner Put it in a Ziploc bag, put it in the fridge and eat it over the next few days.

Make scalloped potatoes for dinner and mix in the bacon.

Make a meatloaf for dinner and lay the strips across the top while it's baking.
