kam I always thought the poll tax was a better way of paying . i was the only earner in my household of myself and two young children at the time , next door had 5 adults in full time employment . and why should you pay more rates because your house is of a higher value .

Exactly. The community charge went some way to charging everyone for what they actually used in there local area. The road should have lead to paying what you wanted.

Now, those that have been riding the gravy train have to pay a couple of quid a week. Tough for them.

A few preppers have been getting twitchy about what is going to happen and low and behold the trigger for riots in 1990 is stealthily re applied to the most volatile members of society.
Curiously just in time for this years council tax bills.

My STHF timetable now reads,
April all the government nastiness hits,
June the first bailiffs start rolling,
July, all hell breaks out.
