Windows or Mac? Windows has a free movie editing software, but for what you want to do there are firefox addons that would be a lot easier:

PSYOP Soldier It's usually a 2 step process..

the actual web cam device and software is one step.

then use an like this: https://www.avs4you.com/index.aspx

to edit/convert video to proper format and upload based on where it's going..

https://www.avs4you.com/avs-video-editor.aspx

sometimes your web cam app does it, sometimes it doesn't..

I use both, the avs product to finish it...

seems to work well...

LibShooter I would recommend that you always record your video to your local hard drive and THEN upload it to a site.

A quick google search turned up these suggested solutions:

(Disclaimer: I don't know anything about the veracity of that site, but it seems legit.)

America's Patriot It was probably too big. You can either compress it and lose some video quality (probably doesn't matter on YouTube), or you can split the video into a Part 1 and Part 2.

A site to upload videos on? Youtube is pretty easy.

Software to use your computer camera to make a video and save it to your computer? It might come with the camera. You can also make a video with a cell phone and copy it to your computer.

Screencast software to make a video of your computer screen while you do stuff on it?

Are you on Windows or Mac? If you're going to make a video, make it on the computer and when it's done upload it to where ever. Then you always have a copy.

Thank you so much. It's Windows. I think I may be able to try to sort it out with what you said. It should work out. I'm not very computer literate so simple things can be annoying to me if they're new. I can figure that out though.

Video Recording on PC

Does anyone know a good site for video recording with a PC? I just made an hour long video about sewing and the site discarded it when I was done. It was a bit annoying.
