It is simple or complicated, depending on their experience, knowledge, philosophy of life, the laws of your country or justice, politics or ideas to approach an idea or option, etc..(also/and) to survive something or to something ..of staff, individual or collectively (pooled.)

We know security and all-encompassing various fields of life, so I ask, what is this thing we call security?

I would be interested to know your opinions.

Thank you very much for sharing.
The ability to go to sleep with a reasonable expectation of waking up without having some 7 ft tall maniac(or 100 lb crackhead) standing over my bed would be a good start at "security" in my humble opinion...but then I have simple requirements from life

Jimboman Security is being prepared for the unknown events that can harm you. Ebola put a new twist on my security! Depending on where you live, those harmful events my vary. In Oklahoma, you have tornados. In New Orleans you have Katrina. In America, you have our wonderful government to worry about. Their ambition does not have your best interests in their plans. My security is for financial collapse ; civil unrest and food shortages.
