If they have the virus, then they would take it to wherever they land, and infect people at that location. Plus, anyone ELSE they come into contact with along the way.

I have been thinking exactly those two points.

Just wanted to define JIT delivery for everyone - it's "just in time" and had been touted as the pinnacle of efficiency so money need not be spent on storing goods. Most stuff is delivered in quantity sufficient to satisfy demand in "normal" times, but fails miserably, as we have seen, when people hoard.

It sold out in hours in HNL. Never would have imagined just how much Spam is sold in the Hawaiian Islands until we went to Costco. And that included 3 islands! Saw same in OGG and LIH.

That would be Honolulu, Oahu, Kahului, Maui, and Lihue, Kauai for those not familiar with the IATA codes.

Let him deal with his own problems. What makes him think the other states don't have similar problems?

Idiot.

Well, apparently anywhere the trail in Tennessee goes through a state or national park, it's closed. We have hiked as far north as just above the Smokies, so possibly we could get in 40 or 50 miles. Maybe.

According to some, it is so certain people can't flee the country.

LCNMPatriot Cuomo can suck an egg... in the midst of all that's going on with the Coronavirus he just HAD to sneak through a ban of flavored tobacco products (vapor / e-cig products) attached to the budget bill..

I know that many people have their own opinion on vapor products, but any way you look at it they're 95%+ less harmful than smoking and as if there isn't enough unemployment right now, he's killing an entire industry in the state...

The guy needs to go

The fact that Gov. Homo won't even accept help from firearms manufacturers proves he won't do anything to help his people, not even something simple & being willingly offered. Maybe someone should remind him all those states his demanding stuff from are a lot of red states with gun owners. Then he won't want their icky machines or Dr.'s either.

Sure, there's a Plethora of 'differentials' - physiology differences / level/quality of Care / effectiveness (or lack, thereof) of 'mitigation strategies', etc, etc.. But with somewhat-parate pop. densities.. IF, say, there ends up being 5K dead in NYC? Then that very-likely could suggest a 'corollary' that - at least in Wuhan - the numbers are total BS..

It appears to me that the US med industry has learned NOTHING from Jan/Feb. Info that was well known to this board from the backchannel msg/info from chicomland. The do, however, love/parrot whatever CCP propaganda/drivel has been published.
