Hey Panz,
You know HP discontinued the C9 Comp in 2006. I found a Strassell C9 Comp the other day. It must have been returned to MoM for repairs & the slide was replaced. A rarity all the same? It will look good with my other 6 HP Comp's! Yep it is on it's way to me now!

Vonfatman machimelvin,
that is a terrific collection. congratulations.
although i dont personally own a hi-point, i have reccomended them to MANY folks needing a reliable firearm.
they always go bang.
some prefer something else. that is fine too.

Tusken Raider You know what, for all the trash talkers, snobs and bull**** artists here, I am buying a Hipoint 995. After that a C9. Mind you I will still buy a Glock and build myself 2 ARs. But just to **** people off I am buying Hi Point guns FIRST. I am giving them a chance because I have had ARs, Rugers, Taurus, Springfield, etc choke and break regardless of what you do to them.

Don't like Hi Point? Fine. **** off and let the people that like them converse amongst themselves. Instead of information in this thread, there is nothing but tallywhacker measuring going on by the naysayers.

So, thank you, You made my decision easier.

In fact, the factory doesn't have records to verify most of their model releases. I hope to some day figure out how to post pictures on this forum. I have tried to join a few other forums, but was unable to post pics. I will follow this page for a while to see if there is any activity. I have visited several of the HP plants & have gained considerable knowledge from MoM.
Found the Photo Button!

If you can send your pic to your email, you can log on to your computer, open your email, you can copy & paste them or save them to your hard drive?
NO cord needed?

panoz77 Just to show all the naysayers about Hipoints warranty being the REAL DEAL. A new member (thatglockguy was his username, so you can imagine he was not a Hipoint fan) to the hipoint forum posted up a 9mm carbine he had an opportunity to buy for $30, it was missing about 50% of the parts and the stock was cut and modified. He was told to run and buy it, he did, mailed it into Hipoint and in 19 days they sent him back a fully refurbished 995 like new. Here is the thread.

The pistols are probably okay too, but I wouldnt want to be seen with one. The carbine is a good piece, expecially for the price.

BTW, mine was a 9mm

They make them in 40 too and I think maybe 45. Although if they dont make a 45, it would be a big seller if they made it take 1911 mags!
I've got a .45. Ugly, heavy, reliable. They'll accept 1911 mags with a little tweaking. The 1911 mag shortens the gun up about 5/8" but it is still about as concealable as a 10 ga. Marlin Long Tom.

machomelvin Maybe with Trump in office, MoM can catch up on all their back orders and do some research & development on a few more guns?

There are reliable 20 round single stack mags now called Redball mags, and if you want a folding stock for a Hipoint, you have to make it yourself, there are several people who have done it and most of them look pretty good.

machomelvin I can change most anything that does not require sawing or grinding anything to fit?
12-13-2015 09:40 AM
machomelvin I tried to swap the 1st one, didn't work correctly. So I took it to the Smithsonian. It needed a little more trimming out. So when I was ready for the 22nd one, I just took it back to the smith. I am a perfectionist. I don't want my stuff to look amateur, so I just pay to have it look professional. Alot if my guns are BNIB, never fired. I am more of a collector than a shooter?
