    I used paint stripper. I would suggest only stripping the blade part and not the tang part, this will protect any rust forming under the scales.

    Stripping the blade will definately help the knife slice (there will be less drag from the coating), you could also convex the edge, apparently the RC-4 works very well when convexed.

    Hi survivalboards friend,

    I've got a question I've posted and I need to get a solution that I can't find myself...so I'm asking all the friends I have here for advice or experience on this...

    Ill do a review on my axe when i get some spare time,im very busy at the moment thats why ive not been on line so much.

    I have used the axe and i like it very much,i put two different bevels on it,works for me.

    Well that's cool. I looked high and low for that thing and couldn't find the exact thing. I found some siminlar models but not the same. That's pretty neat. I can't even remember where I got the thing in the first place. Thanks for the link.

    Have a look in on Ragweed forge they have the same Axe as i do,only thing is the new one is made in China but to US specs so they are good quality.
