    Break-In your new genset. First run just to get it running. Since it is a Generator, you can't "idle" it...it will spent its whole service life at 3600 RPM.

    As soon as you know it runs OK, take some loads and load it up! Break it in just like you are gonna run it! Your Wife's hair dryer is a great load! Two of them (my wife always has at least two on hand!) will push your 5KW genset pretty hard, close to 80%!

    Teach the Wife how to set-up and connect, and start the unit...Power out drills don't always happen while you are home!

    Please don't plan on using extension cords to power up your home, and Do Not "Back Feed" power through an outlet!
