Post Maglite Accessory Pack - Review

Advertise Here

Maglite accessory pack is one of the most useless things you are ever likely to purchase but it gives a strange sense of pride to own a genuine Mag accessory pack. Lenses are useful as replacements and the lanyard is pretty good but i dont think i will use the anti roll for anything other than operating the light with gloves.

Red Lens- Night Vision conservation
Blue Lens- Penetrating fog/ smoke (I thought this was a yellow filter)
Clear Lens- Replacement
Anti Roll- A big thing you put on the head of the Mag which is an *** to get off
Lanyard- Pretty useful actually
Clip- For clipping your mag onto stuff

Anyone else bought this? What do you think?

You've never had flashlight roll on you?? Put on night stand and it rolls off??
Having to hold light in mouth cause you can't get it to shine where you want??

All of my small lights have a hand strap on them. Worst part of movie is when they drop flashlight and can't find it later.

I've even got the head strap that holds the mini mag.

The only useful accessories I use for the MagLites are for the mini maglite: the fiber-optic attachment & the LED upgrade (order the GOOD one thru Deal Extreme). For the full size maglite the neoprene/rubberized cover with carry strap/handle.
I've tried most of the accessories out there and found all the rest of the doo-dads sell are typically useless, unless you're in very specialized circumstances.. My 02. BeSwift

I would recommend the Nite Ize head strap and LED upgrade kit. A friend bought me a Nite Ize Flashlight Friend. http://www.acehardwaresuperstore.com...s-p-18295.html I don't know if I would have bought it for myself but I do use it. I shape the legs into a hook and hang my light in my tent.

The end piece works great for self defense also. At least the turd who was swinging at me thought so.
