*Chuckle*

If it makes you feel better, Chapter two has the perspective of a family bunkered down in the same city as the "felonous looters". (Spelling?)
Hint: They almost got BBq'ed.

Edit: The directive of this chapter was to "know your enemy". I find it important.

Sounds Cool. Changing characters and perspective is always fun.

Nothing worng with playing Devil's Advocate. You might even find the best in yourself when doing the worst.

Very interesting start.... sort of an R rated version of "The Road..." I am looking forward to seeing how the characters and stories develop...

Dude, are you for real? Tell me how you can, in any imagination, find something good in yourself, while you're raping a 7 yr old? or a 80 yr old woman? Gutting a 10 yr old? Killing an innocent family for their supplies?

To defuse, the narrative serves as a way to create an imaginary enemy. One fueled by my imagination, that can be used to counter-strategize. I would be a mean ass bad guy. But Im not.

I've had some people berate me as a looter because of this story. Its funny, because they don't get it.

Then why even chime in? Thats pretty rude to say. Plus there is a lot of truth to the murderous ways of looters and you could probably learn a thing or two. Just turing yourself off to reality is what we are trying to avoid here at this site. otherwise you are just one of them.

I had no idea this was going to stir up such a debate.

Maybe I should add a stronger rating to the article like:

Warning: May cause you to question your beliefs and the beliefs of those around you

I don't understand why, it's just a story (and a pretty good one so far). I can't speak for everyone here, but I'm looking forward to the rest of it....

Pro-Pain,

I completely agree. I am not taking it too serious.

Works been slow and been waiting for more. Keeps me entertained. People that are taking this serious should go read a biography if they want to take everything so serious. I mean it is just a story.

Agreed. I think its a good spin to tell the story from a raiders perspective. Its definitely different and I like it so far. Bring on chapter 2!

So, you like snuff films too??

Sometimes after reading a too violent book, nightmares would wake me for weeks. I've got young grandkids and reading what some people do to kids is not my cup of tea.
